Session 25 :

  1. Go to Start > All Programs > Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 > Configuration Tools > Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
  2. Here Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Configuration Manager automatically detect your Server Name and Instance name. Then press Connect button.
  3. Next window will give you the Target Server URL where you have to deploy your SSRS Report.

The Red circled URL is the Location where you have to Deploy your SSRS Reports. (Instead ofhttp://pc_name-pc/ReportServer use http://localhost/ReportServer for best practice.) Copy the URL http://localhost/ReportServer for use next time.
  4. Now go to the Microsoft Visual Studio and open your Report which you want to Deploy on the Server.
  5.  In Solution Explorer highlight your Report name and right Click over there. Go to the Properties window.
  6. Paste the copied Deployment Server URL to the Target Server URL section.
  7. Select the Version of your Reporting Services next the option i.e. Target Server Version or use the Detect Version option to detect the version automatically.
  8. You can also customize your Report name by using Target Report Folder.
  9. Then Press Apply and ok and your Report is Ready for Deployment on the Server.
  10. Now again go to Solution Explorer and highlight the Report what you have made and right click and press Build and the press Deploy option the Report will Deploy on the Server if no error will be there in your reports then.
  11. Now go to the Report Manager URL of Reporting Services Configuration Manager where you will get your URL.

Simply you have to do only to copy the URL and paste it on the Internet Explorer after applying Run as Administrator (for your local System not for Server system).(Internet Explorer is the Recommended browser for SSRS Reports. )
  12.  Put http://localhost/Reports or http://IP_Address_of_Server/Reports.
